The Unforeseen Positives of Tesla Self-Driving Cars

Tesla is quickly rolling out self-driving electric cars with software that is twice as safe as a human driver. They have more eyes than a human, better reaction time, and can continue to become safer by learning from all other Teslas on the road. For how much more advanced the computers on a Tesla are, they are planning on developing the next generation system to be three times better than what is already twice as safe as humans.
While most people would look at self-driving cars and imagine sitting in the driver's seat while the car drove itself, that reality is limited. The impact of self-driving cars will be felt in ways many do not consider.

This Movie is Bad: Captain Marvel

I went into Captain Marvel as blind as I could. I never watched the trailers, and had only seen a couple screenshots or gifs, and a poster. I had heard of people absolutely loving it, some thought it was mediocre, and others hated it, so I was open to just about anything. What I watched is by far the worst of the MCU movies. The movie fails at its core, centered around a character that is confusing, unlikable, and what I can only describe as bipolar. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Here is a spoiler review of Captain Marvel. (The only thing you need to know from this movie before Endgame is she gets her powers from the Teseract, and she shows up on Earth)

Why RollPlay Shows Are Terrible Now

Recently, I have dropped watching all of RollPlay shows. I no longer cared what happened regardless of who was GMing, the cast, the setting, or the system. I still watch all of Koibu's roleplay shows that run Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition, so I chucked it up to my preference for that system. However, while watching a recent episode of Office Hours, I came to the revelation why RollPlay shows are nowhere on the level they used to be.

The Walking Dead is Terminal or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Killing Characters

This will contain spoilers both of characters who have died or who are still alive, which in a show full of character death is a spoiler in and of itself.

First off, the death of a character is not about that character but about how that death affects others. Whether it motivates them to action, motivates them towards nihilistic inaction, or changes their world view, a character's death has to mean something.

What Makes Jurassic Park Special (And Where Jurassic World Went Wrong)

What is Jurassic Park? It is a cautionary tale of man playing God with genetics without the foresight of what they have done. It is as important a film then as it is now with GMOs in our food that leads to cancer and the sterility of our species. It is a film about the brutal force of nature in all forms that man cannot control.

What is Jurassic Park not? A film about dinos fighting dinos.

Jurassic Park is my Star Wars. It is perhaps the movie I have seen the most times. Lost World is perhaps the only book I have reread as many times as I have, and Jurassic Park was the beginning of Michael Crichton becoming my favourite author.

Let's go through the film to see what makes it special.

Part of That Comp (Part of Your World Parody Lyrics)

This particular parody lyrics is dedicated to Defebwar, a Twitch streamer who plays lots of Heroes of the Storm, and particularly Sylvanas Windrunner. Part of That Comp is a parody of Part of Your World from Disney's The Little Mermaid. The song is about a woman who plays Heroes of the Storm, who has everything in the game, but can't get a decent party composition to save her life. Enjoy!

Parody Lyrics Why Can't We be Frieeends?

More parody lyrics with "Why Can't We be Frieeends?" to War's "Why Can't We be Friends?" This is a tribute to the Twitch streamer GillyweedSC2 and her loyal faerie dragon followers. She may play against other people in Heroes of the Storm, but we all want to be frieeends, even if that means taking you down.

His Nova Prime Parody Lyrics (His Cheeseburger)

More parody lyrics! This one for Heroes of the Storm character Nova Prime who has a cloaking device and waits until the right opportunity to snipe an opponent. The song tells the tale of a player who wants to purchase Nova Prime, but the servers are down. The parody is based off the Veggie Tales' Silly Song "His Cheeseburger."

2014 and How Foxcatcher Killed My Love for Writing Reviews

2014 has been a year of lack-luster films, and many more from franchises that have outlived their welcome. If anything can save a year of mediocre films, all of the Oscar bait films are expected to be of higher quality. Sadly this is not true. Some of the front runners are basically gimmick films trying to find a formula that will make it win for the sake of the gimmick and not for the quality of the film.

Body Blockin' Lyrics (Body Movin' Parody)

Body Blockin' is a parody of Beastie Boys' song "Body Movin'." It was inspired by the Blizzard Hero Brawler: Heroes of the Storm. When you group your heroes around an enemy, as long as they don't have a way to jump out, they get body blocked and quickly killed, leaving them with a feeling of helplessness of the inevitable.
